Samsung and AT&T Partner with rag & bone (2012)

Samsung and AT&T were looking for a program to target the creative, educated and upwardly mobile consumer for a new device, the Galaxy Note. The goal was to position the device to someone who is tech-savvy and seeks out the latest in advanced technology in order to stay socially and creatively connected on-the-go. MAC Presents helped Samsung and AT&T reach this goal by brokering a partnership with fashion brand rag & bone.

The program included sponsorship of rag & bone’s show during New York Fashion Week (February). The program included a Galaxy Note VIP lounge backstage, which was a hit with models, media, and celebrities.

Three influential fashion bloggers were selected to use the Galaxy Note during New York Fashion Week. They were photographed on red carpets and in the front row using their devices.

The comprehensive media plan utilized print, outdoor and online advertising as well as social media and PR. Danny Clinch shot still photography and a commercial for the Galaxy Note, and Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, rag & bone’s founders and designers, also designed a custom case for the Galaxy Note device.

Wainwright and Neville hosted the private Galaxy Note launch party in New York City. MAC Presents booked Band of Horses to perform at the event, which was held at the Dream Downtown Hotel.
